The Antique and Classic Boat Society, Thousand Islands Chapter held it’s 29th Annual International Boat Show the weekend of July 8th, 2006 on the Alexandria Bay Town dock. With great weather and wonderful old boats the weekend was a resounding success. Starting with a cocktail party at the Boldt Castle Yacht House on Friday evening and culminating in an Awards Banquet on Sunday morning at Bonnie Castle a good time was had by all. Record numbers of boats on the docks and eager spectators contributed to making the event a successful occasion. All proceeds from the event are donated to local charities including River Hospital, Alexandria Township Historical Society, Town of Alexandria, Lansdowne District Medical Centre (Ontario) and The Antique Boat Museum, Clayton.
